Sombody is advertising Missouri!
One of the ways the state of Missouri advertises itself is with the Missouri Tourism Guide. That has helped get the word out about Missouri for years and years, but it isn’t the hot thing in today’s world. They finally got on the bandwagon and started a web site but only people looking for it seem to find it. There have been many other attempts made and some of them are quite well done. There is one that is rich with content, I didn’t take the time to count all the pages they have there, but it looks like any attraction that is worth anything is listed there along with a brief description of what the attraction is about. There are many pictures and the site is easy to navigate. It is also well ranked in some of the search engines so it gets a lot of hits. They have the SEO factor down on that site. The people who put the site together aren’t even from Missouri, they just enjoy the state so much they wanted to put together a showplace where they could tell the world about what they like about the state. Some people just do this stuff for fun.
