B2B Internet marketing has been my main area of expertise for a long time. I have been doing Internet marketing consulting for many years, along with a bit of work in animated graphic design on the side. A lot of people do not even know what Internet marketing consulting is. The fact is that Internet marketing consultants like myself are responsible for promoting products and services all over the world wide web. Internet marketing consulting is almost a kind of magic, where the marketing firms work with peoples charater traits, fears, loyalties, and buying habits to make them transact or tender enquiries online.
Of course, business Internet marketing consulting is a pretty specific niche. It is pretty lucrative, but it does not really make as big of a difference to what people see, say, and do, as many other areas of marketing consulting. Basically, I help companies and partnerships to get greater exposure over the Internet. I do this by increasing keyword hits, and also by coming up with clever ways to advertise their products. I get other sites to link to theirs, and this helps the PageRank which gets the websites that I am promoting ranked higher in the search engines.
I have been lately wanting to get involved in another area of Internet marketing consulting, however. I was thinking of getting into web development and software development. I like the idea of facilitating companies to be more efficient online.
