Internet marketing really works
Five years ago when I started my local baking business I would have never thought I would be contemplating giving up my advert in the local paper! Recently I had a customer tell me that she hadn’t been in for a while because she had been getting her supplies from someone in the next Town!
How did you find them I asked? Are they advertising in the paper too?
I haven’t seen them. She then informed me that she found their website whilst searching on the internet. This spurred me in to action and I decided I needed to get in to Web design myself and produce a Website for my bakery business!
I asked around friends and family about Web development as well as Web design and got in touch with a Company in the nearest Town that offered both Web design and Web development. I was amazed at how much I didn’t know about Web design and Web development and even more surprised at the vastness of the whole Internet marketing world that is now available. Once the Web design was complete I then faced the next task of Search Engine Optimisation, luckily for me the same company could handle this task too. My Goal was to make sure that this SEO company got me ahead of that other company that was potentially taking my business away! They told me it would take time but would be more beneficial than the add in the local paper in the long run so I am looking forward to my new way of advertising!
